sometimes cheap chinese is pretty good for competition. look at yongnuo stuff. to me the usual brand name stuff is the same guts with large marketing at higher price, much like your milk in a grocery store, brand name vs store label, both are from the same place, but different price. of course hardware and software is a whole different story and i cant say i trust really any software anymore from cashing in on some sort of datamining
