I've not had any of your snapping issues on a Win 10 desktop or laptop. I don't use the built-in mail client, so I can't comment.... however, most apps allow you to specify the port right in the server address, for example:

    imap.gmail.com:993

Not user friendly, but a potential work-around for you.

    • huh? it was one of the features they were advertising. smart snap shit.CygnusZero4

    • every windows 10 machine ive seen had this snapping nonsense going onCygnusZero4
    • when you turn it off though, the snapping does stop, but you still see it highlighting areas of the screen it wants to snap to.CygnusZero4
    • I'm aware it exists. It's been around in some form since Win 7. It simply doesn't present the issue you are having for me.ETM
