ouch...
ableton + ni blocks + ni replika + ni solid bus comp = slow render
i think it is that my blocks sound is too automated / complicated.
anyone else have a similar issue?
send a - replika
send b - solid bus comp5 midi tracks
1 - drum rack w/ 12 samples
0% replika 100% solid bus comp2 - drum rack w/ 4 samples
66% replika 15% solid bus comp3 - drum rack w/ 1 sample
100% replika 0% solid bus comp4 - massive
50% replika 25% solid bus comp5 - blocks
75% replika 15% solid bus comp...ish...
it had no problem being played live as I recorded the performance from scene to scene. I was able to listen to playback effortlessly as I adjusted the instruments and delay / compression settings before export.
I did no midi consolidation or track freezing before export. I never do, so today's workflow is no different than other days. This export time is far and beyond anything ever experienced.

i have had time to send a friend a mastering article i found while looking into this slow render issue as it's the first time i have ever experienced it.
i've also been able to compose this and i am still only at 36% of Searching for maximum amplitude: Master.
- it may have had a process interruption or something. As soon as I went to check the status of my processors, everything wrapped up in an instant. strange.imbecile
- Shouldn't really be THIS bad but some 3rd party plugs do oversampling on render, check all the quality settingsWeyland
- it must have been an interrupted process, other exports didn't yield a similar experience. In other news, ableton auto updated something today.imbecile
