    • Some lenses can be shot at "hard-stop" infinity.Being that it's an old MF Nikon AI(S) fixed lens, it's almost certainly fine to focus at the infinity stop.

    • But, with AF and modern lenses, the hard-stop infinity isn't calibrated so if you rotate it all the way, you're probably out of focus.
