This is great stuff.
The original was ahead of its time and now the rest of HBO/Netflix/etc. has caught up so the pacing, storylines, etc. have had to match suit.
Feels nostalgic, but current coming from someone who watched very episode religiously and even had an X-Files website on www.geocities.com/area51/cavern/… back in the day, complete with Gillian Anderson lingerie gallery.
