I'm on the hunt for a new camera. I want something that takes full frame quality shots like my old 5d mii but lighter and cheaper? I'd like to keep everything under 1k, max 2k for a body and lense.

- Oops, too expensive. It is FF and small, though!********
- Aren't the sony A7's newer and better?pinkfloyd
- Maybe, but not smaller. The RX1 is the size of a large Point+Shoot********
- Fuji XT-1formed
- Shout-outs for the X-T1 - incredibly fun to use and small enough to carry everywhere. I've had mine for over a year still only use the (great) 18-55 kit lens.face_melter
- Saw the XT1, and it looks cool but sensor isn't as good as the full frames?pinkfloyd
- The sensor isn't ff, but it's fantastic. Picture quality is better than bigger sensor. So unless you are shooting billboards you should be fine.formed
- fyi, I have a Nikon D800 and the thing is a nightmare to carry around. Done over, I'd go with some micro4/3formed

- Sony A7 mkII cameras seem to be next to ideal.futurefood
- A7 is way out of his price rangeformed
- The Sony A7's and Fuji X's are the best. Fuji glass is ridiculous - up there with Leica.inteliboy
- sony is likely your best option. do you have many lenses?jaylarson
- No lenses nowpinkfloyd
- sony would be perfect for what you desire. only the price tag isn't (yet).SimonFFM
- Not sure any ff is under 2k...
But so far Sony is the closest thing to what you want.pango - Nikon D750 goes for 1600-1700. It's a great camera! but it's about the same size as a 5djaylarson
- I'll take your 5dii. You only do selfie anyway :Ppango
- please delete all those selfies :Dpinkfloyd
