I recommend bbpress for the forum functionality. It's developed from the start to play nicely with WordPress and its built-in user roles. I've used it with good results on multiple projects. It's pretty easy to theme/customize the front-end as well.

Definitely go with WooCommerce for the eCommerce portion. They were recently bought by automattic (the parent company of WordPress), so you know that plugin is going to be stable and compatible with the future roadmap of WordPress.

I also recommend the Yoast SEO plugin as mentioned above.
