    I was speaking with a very opinionated anti-Obama woman at the office about education in America, and I turned the conversation to Europe and how their education and healthcare systems generally work. And she literally turned her chair to look at me and sat there with her mouth wide open the entire time.

    She had literally no clue that many Europeans have free (tax-funded) healthcare and education. She was stunned at this new information... and probably assumed every country was like the US where it's normal to go into deep debt because of a two-day hospital stay.

    Some people are so adamant about their political positions, yet they're mind-blowingly ignorant once you engage in conversation. I couldn't believe she didn't know Europe was like that. How do you go almost 40 years into life and not know Europe is like that? It was amazing.

    All I wanted to do was say "PLEASE DON'T VOTE, EVER" and walk away.
