so how many of you subscribe to CC?

and all moral and legal discussion aside, have you or anyone you know successfully cracked it and got it running for free?

    • I subscribe to the pos rip off motherfucking cunt of a pos rip off motherfucker.

i know someone who uses a cracked torrented version.

    • I subscribe. You can install it on up to two computers (work & home). I absolutely love it.kona
    • And no offense, but it's like $40 a month and we're not in college anymore. You should be able to pony up. :)kona
    • yeah its cheap as fuck now considering all the tools we getmoldero
    • the cost is inconsequential, but is still a rip off. I don't need every 'version', and yet I am now tied to an annual release cycle with no perceivable benefit.detritus
    • yeah i subscribed last month for several reasons but have been wondering if it's actually helped stop any pirating of their softwarescarabin
    • Also, UK rates are above what you guys pay. I pay about $60 for Two Apps. Not the full suite.detritus
    • I pirated for decades till CC came out, pretty smart of themmoldero
    • main reason is i always seem to be on ancient versions and feel left behind in terms of current featuresscarabin
    • i like that i'm always current nowscarabin
    • yeah that + the fixed glitches/bugsmoldero
    • I only have it because my clients send me files in newer versions, and it's often a pita to convert/ask for re-sends. All *my* stuff I can do with CS2. (illy)detritus
    • when a client sent me a file I couldn't open because their version of the file was newer was the straw that broke the camels back for memoldero
    • pinch poke you owe me a coke det!moldero
    • yeah that happened at my old agency ALL the time because they wouldn't update our software. embarrassing when your clients are more current than you arescarabin
    • haha yupmoldero
    • When CC first came out, I pirated it - it is insultingly easy to crack on OSX. Binned it because of performance issues, but now I subscribe to the PS/LR tier.face_melter
    • second' detritusbklyndroobeki
    • I use PS heavily, going legit meant that I could easily sync my settings/brushes/ass... between home and work, plus the B*HnCe account is handy.face_melter
    • i finally bought the subscription. mostly because it's kind of an ass to pirate it and i don't have the time or patience to.jaylarson
    • and lightroom collections can be synched onto an ipad—and you need the subscription to pull that off. maybe if jailbroke, but i'm lazy.jaylarson
    • I pay around £45 a month in the UK which in my book is so fucking cheap for all those apps - you gotta be a monkey to complain at that price.fadein11
    • I subscribe. Very clever of Adobe. Cheap enough to suck you in and switch to legit. It's £540 a year. They must be raking it in...monoboy
    • ...but they are the tools we use to make a living, so damn right you should pay.monoboy
    • I owe adobe so much money... thought i should at least pay something lolpango
    • i subscribed becuz that make me feel important. i'm like in a club.Ben99
    • It's 2015...pay for the software that you use. Quit being a dickhead.sublocked
    • My old work paid for it, and I still use it.
With exchange rate at the moment, I wouldn't pay personally for it, so glad it's on the tab.
      meffid
    • i always thought typekit was a great perk toojaylarson
    • i'm guessing i should mention again that i joined last monthscarabin
    • Like moldero, nicked it for years but subscribed to CC. So far, so legal. Sucked in...MrT
    • i joined a while back and it's nice not to have to worry about getting the newest version every timejuanluisgarcia
