    Google almost bought them, deal was made and hands were shook. But Tesla started making some money and backed out. Too bad, would have shot Google to the moon (literally! Ha).

    I like Musk. He's the first we've seen, at least so publicly, that is changing things. Just saw another Tesla at the grocery yesterday...damn, what a well executed car! Amazing acceleration, reasonable price, etc., etc. Another great example that design can really help.

    I think it puts Apple in perspective, too. All the fan boys will keep talking up how great it is, but really, they are one of the most selfish companies out there. Look at the profit margins. They could be making things for low income, etc., etc., if they cared, but they only about profits. That's fine, but there's nothing "feel good" about Apple.

    I sure wish I had bought some Tesla stock, not because of the bubble its in, but because I like this guys vision and ability to execute on it.
