^ basically there were as many undercover cops as there were participants that year and they were douchebags the entire weekend. for instance, they'd sidle up next to someone, ask for weed, then throw money on the ground right afterward, claiming you sold it to them and then bust you. one medical marijuana patient had a joint taken out of his mouth by a cop, who then stuffed money in his pockets and arrested him for selling weed. or they'd use excessive violence, grinding people's faces into the dirt who were already cooperating. tons of arrests were thrown out in court because they were clearly just awkward setups.

twice i had short stocky white guys with backpacks (sure sign of an undercover cop) try to get me to sell them molly, and then "anything else" after i said i had none. i'd reply "no officer" and they'd scurry off to their golf carts and disappear.

then the park it was held in was fucking with people by turning off the water we were depending on to stay hydrated.

furthermore, stages were too far apart, camping areas were distant from the parking lot, and no shuttles were provided to help you schlep your gear from your car.

it basically felt like the event hated us, so i quit supporting it.
