    Why not charge them an hourly rate instead of a daily rate - that way, you can make those 3 days count and do 9-10 hours, and get as much as you would for 5 normal days for example - then, you've got the other 2 days to rake in the freelance work. Make sure you get a Ltd Co, pay less tax - all your work equipment, travel and food for those 3 days will be tax deductable! get your own pension, Holiday when you want, and buy a water bottle for your home (My Co thinks a Water bottle is a benefit!!!)
