  was just talking to my client... he's all bummed-out / having to play the loving boyfriend (x10) today. His girl went into her review at work yesterday thinking it was time for a raise and instead was let-go... :(

  I've been a contractor for 12 years— I don't even give the idea of 'being fired' a second thought. Unemployment isn't an option for me either... insurance etc—all on me. I kind of feel fortunate that I'm able keep my head above water on my own... I can't imagine what my client's GF must be feeling today...

  ... Her search for a job will be greatly hindered by the fact she was fired from her last job... that to me seems like a death sentence. :(
