You have the opportunity to negotiate a higher rate of pay. You will be a contract worker with out the benefits and security, and they obviously are interested in you doing work for them. This is the time to negotiate. I quit a job a few years back and ended up still doing contract work for them for years. In the 1st month I made what I would have made in 3 on a project by project basis.
