You can also make healthy meals in a a few minutes. I do. Costs next to nothing, too. And honestly, it is better than 90% of the take out (granted, I tend to not like greasy Chinese and don't eat hamburgers, 99% vegetarian).
It really is just laziness. Both physical and mental. I'd love to eat pasta and bread, I could forever, but I'd look like some of these photos. I am all about saving time, though, when eating alone, so 5-10 minutes prep time is my usual limit. The only headache is having to go to the store to get fresh things often (but, coincidentally, there's one next to my gym, two birds down!)
