    Still too slow via VirtualBox to really have an opinion.
    I'm trying it in my 2007 MacBook.
    I have 4GB RAM and I'm using 2GB with Elementary.

    Downloaded two programs, took ages.
    I'm partitioning my HD in the moment so I can make a HD installation and try it out that way.

    Luckily I live with Linux freak programmer/hacker, so in any worst case scenario I hope he can help me.

    The only thing I can truly say so far is that it actually looks good.

    I'm going on on forums to try to find a solution for the "being slow" problem.

    I'll keep you updated of any developments.
