BUMP!
Curiously I just installed it today via VirtualBox.
I could have partitioned my HD to install it or not as Elementary OS gives the chance to install the OS with double boot features.But I want to try it first that's why I opted for the VB solution.
First installation was a bit slow.
The second is running a bit faster.I've been for the last 2 years thinking about installing Linux in my Mac in order to use only Open Source software.
But I'm too dependent on Adobe...So I decided to keep only graphic software on my Mac OS X.
And all the rest on the Linux OS.I really want to start using GIMP and Inkscape and other software instead of Adobe.
I know I can do it in my OS but I also want to depart from the Apple Universe.Just keep using they're machines.
