depends imo. for me... i would personally tackle it myself. maybe map out some release milestones.
like for instance, i'm building an iOS game, slowly, and i know what i want it to ultimately be and i also know it will take a lot of time to get there. my plan is to release a minimally-featured version that is good enough. just to get it out there. maybe a free release. then continue on and add in new features based on what i know i want and what i will eventually learn my users might want based on that initial feedback.
a fool's journey some would say if you could just pay someone to blitz the grunt work. but i think with regard to app dev'ing not a whole lot is grunt work tbh, and nothing is really gonna get blitzed, lol.
and frankly, i want to be as cobra kai about these things as possible, i want to learn it. even though it's testing my code nerd limits.
