  is it possible to find a lawyer who will write a letter on your behalf or even just let you use their letterhead to write a letter asking for payment to scare them a little?

  Sorry to hear this man. I hate that people don't fucking pay up and then act like it is your fault. Good lesson in contracts for even little jobs (even though i myself have fallen to this a few times and need to listen to my own advice)
