    mg33. For proper storage, store in a plastic bag with the opening at the top. Place the paper sleeve with record outside of the jacket. This prevents shelve marks and jacket wear, and and allows easy access to the record, without having to remove the plastic bag. You can find fancy bags that fold over and seal too, if that's your thing. Also note, this is also how you ship records properly to avoid the record for shuffling inside the jacket and puncturing the corners.
