A good friend of mine who has used a ton of Nikon FX gear just got one and absolutely loves it, especially the lighter weight. He also has a massive collection of Polaroid and other old cameras, so he might like the size of it quite a bit based on those.
I've been planning an upgrade from my Nikon D90 for a year now, just waiting to save a bit more to get a D610 and some new lenses. But he really got me to reading about the XT1 and considering that as a possible upgrade.
What I'm really looking for is evidence that photos can print at a large size at high quality, which I think is possible given it's 16MP vs. my D90's 12MP I think? Going to an FX Nikon has been my plan for a while for improved quality, but trying to put some thought into the XT1
