I bought a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon 3. So worth the money and happy I bought it from a small local shop down the street from me.
Already upgrading to an acrylic platter because the static of the metal platter + felt mat is really annoying. I've read a lot about the sound improvements from the acrylic platter as well.
Playing through a Musical Fidelity V90-LPS Phono Stage, Marantz HDMI receiver and in-wall speakers. I won't upgrade this stuff until we have an actual house one day because I have no room for another amp or dedicated speakers.- they're sho nuff good decks...hans_glib
- but in-wall speakers...hans_glib
- oh lawdy-lawdy...hans_glib
- they sound pretty good. and i switch to Stereo mode, of course.mg33

- Nice, I have the Genie MKIII in red a few years now, lovely turntables.eoin
- Forgive me if I'm being thick, but is there a speed switch?Eighty
- The Debut Carbon does not have a speed switch. Have to lift the platter to adjust the belt. But they make an attachable speed box.mg33
