The lady and I walked into a theater to watch whatever was playing next last night and caught 48 Hours with Paul Walker having no idea what it was about.

(disclaimer: as a general rule of thumb, I'm overly emotional)

I was ready to cry in the first 5 minutes (could be I was with a woman I love, whom I've been apart from too long), but this story just plops you right into the middle of this man's problems. It's slow for the first half as his reality sets into both himself and the audience. Then as more adversity begins, you fear for every moment he has to make a decision.

The last third / quarter of the movie tests his will and conviction. Watching the relationship strengthen as he does everything he can to endure these hardships, you get caught up with him, some fucked up shit happens as he tries everything possible to get out.

It's tragically heartwarming, inspiring, and scary (in an actual relatable reality kind of way).

There's no way I'll ever experience that movie again the way I did last night, so I suggest not knowing anything about it before watching it, if you want to see how far a man will go to protect someone he loves.

(I tried to be as vague as possible, sorry if I wasn't)

    • Searched and found "Hours", never heard of it before. Now it's a must see. Thanks :DZOOP
