    super-noob question: but i've never had a new board. have always had used/hand-me-down boards that were broken in. do i need to get it waxed before use? i know it has the factory wax on it, but google is throwing me all sorts of different answers on this.

    also thinking about picking up a pair of burton mission EST bindings (new off CL for $100). yes or no? i know the malivitas were recommended but they are about 2.5x the cost.

    • since '90, i've never waxed a new deck before getting at least a few days on it.prophetone
    • get malavitas or cartel set's. in the long run it's going to affect riding style and comfort, and it's cheap enoughprophetone
    • when you're bombing a triple diamond and get into sketchy situations ur gonna want reliable quality under uprophetone
