All i know is my companies health insurance had to be switched out before its normal date due to obamacare. And as an individual I saw 12.8 percent increase as an individual and family plans saw a 3% increase. And that was the cheapest after shopping around where some other plans saw near a 100% increase. And coverage still sucks. If the company gave me what they put into insurance for me I could have found a better plan privately and made an extra hundred bucks a month. I even told them but they wouldn't so not sure if its a tax benefit or just social taboo of being a employer who doesnt pay for insurance, or just headache with paper work. However that probably isn't even the case anymore since most of the detrimental healthplans are axed as not having "enough" coverage...
