To say there is no possibility of any conspiracy is in itself a conspiracy. Lumping every scenario into the most extreme corner with the hologram and explosives theories is overly simplistic.
To say there is no blood lust in certain people linked to the failure of containment gives them a historically inaccurate pass. Mass murderers have come from both sides, external and internal.
During the aftermath of the attack, speaking out against war was frowned upon to the extent that public figures were vilified for it. President Lincoln's statement that you can fool all of the people some of the time rings true. Let's ignore Eisenhower's warning about the military industrial complex (he was obviously joking).
