^ Regarding Building 7...what I have never heard any of the "truthers" explain is why the government would be interested in blowing up a random building next to the two towers.

For that matter if the towers were rigged with explosives why bother with the planes into them in the first place? Why plan a complex, difficult to engineer act of hijacking planes and flying them into buildings when you could just press a button?

This is what gets me about the conspiracy theorists. If there was a conspiracy it would be pretty simple...the U.S. government would have just recruited Al Qaeda terrorists to carry out the action. They would not have left a paper trail by setting explosives, bringing down random nearby buildings, etc. All the random details conspiracists like to point to about the event itself would be completely irrelevant.

    • somebody is fucking somebody's wife. and one guy "fuck it! why not?! might as well! blow up that building that fucker works at!"pango
    • ha! because they needed it to appear something other than the explosives they planted - get it now?fadein11
    • how could they recruit them to collapse the buildings with planes when its not possible?fadein11
    • So a building doesn't collapse if you fly a plane into it?ukit2
    • Why the need to hide the explosives anyway? There was already an attempt to blow up WTC with explosives

    • because it needed so much explosive to actually do it - and controlled for minimal damage to rest of Manhattanfadein11
    • Don't point out the ridiculousness of their theories, ukit. They don't like reality checks.hereswhatidid
