AWESOME!!! Stepped outside and there it was, the annual starling migration, but this year was like nothing I've ever seen! Millions of them, an ornithological wet dream, about 15-20 birds wide in a column that went on for easily a half hour. The flock swarmed east, then west overhead, as low as 10 feet at times, the flapping of wings sounded like wind..... mind blown! :D
- Stralings are an invasive species, brought to NYC in the 18th cent to give the City a more "Dickensian" feel.
