  ^crossed my mind but why would Juan put himself out like that personally? for exposure? Also if this was fabricated you'd think they would come up with something more flattering for Spike Lee and the movie rather than exploitative and loath worthy.

  What I think is the real case is that bad publicity can be spun and used as just plain old publicity. Its more of a fall back response..."Lets milk this"
