I don't blame Spike for trying to distance himself from the situation all things considering but calling Juan's letter a "cheap trick" when all he is trying to do is stick up for himself and appeal to someone he thought might be able to help is not cool or responsible.
The right thing to do would be to reserve comment for now and find out why his name is written as Copyright on someone else's work...
The fact of the matter is the PR company managing the Facebook and the marketing agency involved are misrepresenting Spike and Juan and using unlicensed art to promote a Spike Lee Joint. Its dishonest to say the least, I can't believe there are companies who try and get away with this bogus shit.
