    assuming all the facts are straight and on the table, can't see why he won't win in this.

    they don't have a signed agreement, apparently. they prob also don't have his source artwork. plus he has all the crappy correspondence where they flipped out because he stood his ground. they then used his designs w/o permission to promote the movie all over their social channels and put ©Spike Lee on them, wtf!

    they can't erase any of this now that it's out there.

    with all the high level news stories out there now and we still don't know for certain what agency is responsible for this mess it's like a loaded gun of terrible pr looking for the real target.

    someone needs to answer for it one way or another. if agency/spike go after him they will be vilified imo.

    spike needs to do the right thing in the form of a tweet that says he sorted it out, ad agency were jerks, designer has been compensated, btw love the posters dude sorry for the wharves my bad YO.
