I'm hoping that people can stop making fun of him like its a joke and start realizing the bigger issues around addiction and treat it like a health problem rather than a crime.
He's not going to get prison for any of this but more often than not poor, inconsequential minorities get locked away in no time. The police are giving him special treatment wether they'll admit it or not. Addicts aren't criminals but he is corrupted and so are the police.
This is the guy influencing city addiction programs and discussing budgets with the Toronto Police chief.
