but it slides in and out."That was funny. Yeah I still need help. I'm going to try it again tonight. The cable is really hard to get out. No luck yet.
Im replacing the original hard drive with what was the second drive. I already moved the jumper to the master position and plugged the ribbon that was in the original into the newer one.
Is that all I need to do to set it up or do I have to set it to master somewhere in the OS as well? I'm guessing the other cables are generic power cables and it doesn't matter which one is in which?
