    Wow! Just finished installing the SSD! It's like having a whole new much, much faster computer! Even real pig programs like Photoshop open nearly instantly. It's incredible!

    The SSD is a 250GB Samsung. Cost me $180. I also had to get a cable to clone the old drive, and that cost another $20. So, for $200, I'm getting performance like I've never had before!

    Even with Creative Cloud, Logic, Reason and Native Instruments Komplete on it, I still have about 50GB left. (I have a big hard drive for storage of sample files and iTunes.)

    But this thing flies. I should have done this even before my HD started to sputter!
