To elaborate on my theory above, from what I've read, The Statue of Liberty was sculpted by well-know french mason Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi. Some believe the statue represents the Egyptian goddess Isis.

The Tea Party was created by wealthy businessmen, and has gained an incredible amount of financing and power in a relatively short period of time. I don't think this movement just spontaneously emerged from anger towards an encroaching government as claimed, but rather a purposeful plot to further divide, or maybe further control the country. Maybe it's just a coincidence but their main logo is the hand of the statue of liberty, which would be consistent with masonic symbolism. For them to be able to organize so effectively and have the ability to influence government like we've seen recently, perhaps they are organized and guided by masons.

Just look at Occupy Wall Street as an example. Global grass roots movement, received some financing, organized to the point of camping out in city centers for weeks at a time. Some of it still exists but for all their efforts they got nowhere near the level of power and influence the Tea Party has. Plus the Tea Party supporters sure as hell don't come of as rational intellectuals capable of achieving a government shut down in order to push their agendas.

    • Perhaps it's occam's razor and it's simply the Koch brothers, but there's plenty of billionaires in the world with influence that can't pull this off.IRNlun6
