  Also bad: The app notification bar that appears at the top of the window is tall enough to hide buttons and menus for the app you were using below it. This is especially annoying if you are getting multiple notifications quickly, like from Instagram. Previously on iOS 6 there was just enough space under the notification to still press menu buttons or access the toolbar in Safari. The notification is now tall enough to hide any chance of doing that. Gotta wait it out. Annoying.
