It's always a weird day for me. Sept 11th was the day I packed up my life and moved from Texas to Chicago with a friend. Woke up to that and it was so hard to pull away from the TV to finish packing, say goodbye to people, etc. We drove to Chicago on the 12th, nobody on the highway, tried to listen to music and not just listen to news on the radio the whole drive. Friday the 13th was our first night in Chicago by ourselves, we did a candle-light vigil walk down the boulevard in our neighborhood, found a good bar that lead to so many new friendships, bands formed, music played, girls met and romanced, etc.

Most exciting, sad, and surreal time in my life, bar none.
