    I respect Rabbit's efforts here and the fact that Tumblr feels the need to attempt to shut down the site suggests that the site has revenue potential. I would set up a shell corporation to protect your personal assets, host it outside of your home country and hope shit hits the fan. Worst case scenario is they sue your host to shut down the site, until then contact the media and make a big deal to drive as much traffic as possible. It's very low risk and I'm a little suprised how many of you have a pickle in your ass over this.

    My stance would be to call it a 'fan site', just like a car club not affiliated with the car brand, so I wouldn't walk away just yet. You're not representing yourself as Tumblr and in fact, you're promoting content found on Tumblr that they technically don't own the copyright to either.
