$5.50-$10 a pint in a pub or club. clubs don't usually offer anything craft though. A "pint" is also a loose term that can range from 14 oz all the way to 22 oz
$5.50-$15 a 650 ml bottle at a privately owned liquor store
$3.50-$12 a 650 ml bottle at a government liquor store (all liquor is processed through government, and then resold through privately owned stores, but government liquor stores will only carry certain items)
$10-$15 a six pack of bottles/cans of macrobrewed beer like kokanee, bud, etc from a private store
$8-$13 for the same thing from a government store
$15-20 a six pack of craft brewed bottles/cans from private
$12-$18 from government (if they even carry it)

    • we have some of the most expensive in the country, and some of the most outdated liquor laws in the worldArsenicPants
    • Damn time to start brewing your own!nocomply
    • A pint is not a loose term. It's 16oz exactly.monospaced
    • that's true, but not as far as retailers are concerned in Vancouver. a pint to most people is a "large glass"ArsenicPants
    • so restaurants and bars aren't under any legal obligation to serve a proper pintArsenicPants
