why do some feel the need to think there is a god in the first place, because without one we as people have no purpose? do we need some god dude to give us a reason or 'meaning of life' to live life to the fullest? and why do the people who believe in god think their owed something by this god anyway, like, when I die, im gonna be rewarded and go to heaven, or nirvana or whatever. isn't life on this earth as a human a gift enough?
imagine if you lived your one and only short life as a fish:

are religious people unappreciative little shits? or do they just need to be bribed into not acting like an asshole?

    • Winner! Profane of The year award. Congrats.yurimon
    • It's reassurance for those who fear the unknown so much that they will accept falsehoods as fact.ZOOP
    • humans need a meaning to die. most people live only in anticipation of something grander.teh
    • There is different types of meaning. One created as a control system and other an expression of free will, intellect, appreciation.yurimon
    • appreciation. Your free to choose what you want and the consequences that come with. no diff as arrogance of the Christians in scientific form of a world view.yurimon
    • any institutionalized power in you're world view.. You're capacity to see is along the lines of you're consciousness resolution. like a mega pixel brain cannot take a 10 mega pixel snapshot of realityyurimon
    • resolution. like a 1 mega pixel brain cannot take a 10 mega pixel snapshot of reality. Also more about observation then meaning.yurimon
    • meaning and understanding and what you do with it.yurimon
    • Out of every possibility in our free will capacity and our ability to create, this is the best you can come up with? pretty sad.yurimon
    • Humans don't "NEED" it to die. Only people who need it attach to it. The weak and fearful.monospaced
