nope it won't copy your ipod to your home hd without help.
you need to get some ripping software that lets you copy whatever is on your ipod to your hd at home. try ipodlounge or downloads.com etc. make sure you read other peoples' reviews before using anything random
i've got sommink at home if you don't find anything good in the next 2 weeks
