So aside from scurrying around from link to link, while playing armchair reporter, has anyone donated anything to charity and actually helped anyone, or are you all just oversensationalizing another tragedy before moving on to complaining about sensationalism in the news?

Every time an event like this gets attention, the perpetrators are getting exactly what they want when it becomes channel surfing fodder.
I'll continue to ignore this violent plea for attention.
