it's fucking brilliant
so far ahead of it's time
effects are still untouchable (ok, the apes are a bit ropey)
music / sound is so good
the docking scene the best piece of space flight ever
he predicted the banality of travel when flying by air was still glamorous
still no fucking clue what the end is about and i've seen it so many times, always at the cinema.
