Anyone hating is just bitter or really not a designer themselves.
Since when is "looking like art" a bad thing? He doesn't have logos, but lots of other categories are done well. It has a style, but is very diverse and thorough.
Real designers don't have to make iPad apps for muffler companies and annual reports for fast food joints.
