    i've been vegetarian for around 18 years. the "OMG YOU NEED HUGE AMOUNTS OF PROTEIN" thing is largely bullshit so there's not a whole lot to worry about. eggs are a great source, try eating quinoa where you would normally eat rice, and take full advantage of that fake meat section of your supermarket. there's a lot of tasty meat substitutes... sausages, ground "beef", chili, chicken and garden patties... it's all pretty decent as long as you aren't expecting it to be identical to the dead animal version.

    you can literally just swap your meat with substitutes and never really have to change anything if the idea of not having a carcass on your plate sounds really difficult or scary or something...
