I'm aware of this, ernexbcn, but I shouldn't have to tell it twice. It didn't use to assume (or take liberties) like this, and I just wish it would give me the option right up front to search only for exactly what I entered, in the tense/spelling/etc I used.

This is just a random (probably not the best) example:

dog/dogs or monkey/monkeys is almost understandable, but "pet"?, and returning "attached" or "fastened" instead of "fastening"?

Boolean terms are fine, but I shouldn't need to know it'll look for "pet" or "attached" and have to exclude them when I search for "monkeys" or "fastening".

    • You're example sucks because you don't know what you're searching for and are complaining about assistance.albums
    • ummm, fastening = attaching, and dogs and monkeys are pets, I think Google did the best it fucking could POSSIBLEmonospaced
    • also, have you not tried SEARCH MODIFIERS!?!?!?? dude, seriously, try putting it in quotes to startmonospaced
