    This is very, very true. Would never argue with that. I think my problem here is that jumping to tablets in the 3rd world classrooms might be overkill when learning the alphabet is just as easy with a chalkboard and paper (y'know, like how we learned). Battery life, internet costs, hardware replacements are the cost for being able to drag your finger across a screen to simulate a crayon. Just doesn't make complete sense the way it's being shown.

    • I agree with you. But the OLPC is not replacing anything, they seem to be just trying new ways for that.chrisRG
