So you're going to sell all the effort you put into building your blog, your user base and all your labour into it, for a year, for $3,000???
Not exactly reaching for the stars are you?
(I don't know industry rates, but 3,000 for me wouldn't even be worth the administrative trouble and negative effect on user experience)
Maybe advertising isn't a money maker. You could offer a premium service yourself and reap all the benefits, with none of the advertising costs.
