The weirdest date I ever went on was way back when I was in High School in the 90's. This really popular blonde cheerleader who was way out of my league asked me, a scruffy little artsy grunge kid, out. I picked her up blaring Nirvana, whom she never heard of before then took her to see My Private Idaho, a Gus Van Sant movie about gay street hustlers. I think she was terrified but we ended up dating and living together for 5 years.
