I only have dating disappointments that are worth telling. Went out on one date with a girl I met online in college - she found my geocities website and was also a webdesigner, probably 1999 or 2000. Lots of chatting over ICQ, she sent me some photos of herself, pretty cute. Went on a date with her, she had a bit more of a squatty body than the pictures showed and one of those partial upper lips that revealed her choppers.
Anyhow, back at her place after dinner, just sitting and talking and eventually she puts her hand on mine. I made up some excuse about needing to go because I wasn't actually very attracted to her.
As I got older I really beat myself up over not seeing where that hand could have really gone. She wasn't that bad looking, I was just this shy idiot trying too hard to be the nice guy.
